Tap(@Victoria Paddington with Suzy):Hazy, amber with a ruby sheen; moderate bitter-(english)-hoppy nose with a distictive fruity(berries) and mildly malty background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and very soft; lingering bitter-sweet fruity, malty and hoppy finish. A collaboration of two of the best british brewers, so nothing can go wrong! Great english Ale, very moreish…

Cask at the earl of Essex. A clear nut brown amber coloured pour with a skummy off white head. Aroma is nice layered nutty malts, brown bread jammy fruits, dried raisin, piney hop. Palate is medium bodied, semi sweet, rounded, good cask condition. Flavour is composed of nutty earthy malts, toasted brown bread, bitter pine hop, light bark, little resinous hop. Really nice. Perhaps closer to an amber ale. Very enjoyable. 8 3 7 4 15
