Light red colour, cloudy, no head. Aroma is intensive strawberry jam, also yoghurt. Medium sweetness, not sour, not bitter. Medium body, medium carbonation. Not bad, but offers too little.

Bottle (from Drink Online). Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is candi sugar, some strawberries and mild wooden tones with mild funk. Flavour is strawberries, mild tartness, some funk and leathery tones with some quite sweet candi sugary tones. A bit too sweet in a way.

Tap at Valhalla with Hrabren. Hazy reddish body, off-white head. Strawberry jam-candy aroma, bit funky. Overly sweet strawberry taste, tartish finish. Okay balance.

Strawberry-flavoured Lindemans fruit beer, created exclusively for the American market in 2017; big thanks to my downstairs neighbour Jo, whose father works at the brewery, for fixing me this bottle! Foamy, rocky, pale off-pinkish, very stable, moussy, cobweb-lacing head on a near clear, warm reddish amber beer with salmon pink tinge. Aroma of strawberry coulis and strawberry-flavoured children's candy (Fruitella), honey, sweet stewed red bell pepper somewhere, hint of onsetting oxidation (wet cardboard), grenadine, bubblegum, paprika-flavoured potato crisps. Sugary onset, very sweet with rather sharp, stingy carbonation, lots and lots of artificial strawberry syrup (though apparently juice was used), grenadine with a slight lemony edge from the lambic crushed under all this sweetness; cloying sugariness and stickiness continue through a slender white-bready core remaining deeply stewed in artificial strawberry flavours. Very vague hints of wood and even earthy hop bitterness pop up briefly faraway in the background, but this overly dominant, sickly sweet strawberry flavour and sugariness keep the upper hand entirely, so that a red fruit candy effect is basically the only effect remaining. Seems even sweeter and simpler than the more classic Lindemans fruit beers (like Lindemans Kriek or Lindemans Framboise), I guess because this is designed for the typically American sweet tooth? Not my beer at all, of course, but still I am glad I had a chance to taste this export product.
