Mole-inspired Smoked Stout w/ various chili peppers. Zao (local band) collaboration with Against the Grain. Smoked stout with chilis. BURNED AT THE STAKE may tantalize your tongue at first with smoky wantonness, but once she warms up, she will bite your tongue with a smooth pepper bite. The 4 different varieties of peppers add a unique, yet subtle, character that becomes more complex the more you drink. She is chocolaty, roasty, full-bodied (oh yeah), and very well-balanced. She will take you for one hell of a ride, one that may just be your last.

Caña en el Lupulo Feroz Oviedo 06.. 10. 2018. (r06) Color negro con espuma beige que desaparece al poco. Sabores maltosos tostados especiados ligeramente quemados con buena dosis de ahumados, ligeros cafés. Cuerpo medio fácil de beber poco licorosa. Ligero amargo final. Buena.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 24 May 2018) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, cacao, liquorice and a touch of smoke. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, cacao, liquorice, smoked bacon and a touch of chilli in a finish with a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made, with balanced flavours of smoke and chilli. Nice one.

Draft. Chocolate malt, chilis, and fresh hay aroma. Black with large tan head. Moderately sweet Mexican chocolate, malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Light chili pepper burn in the finish. Good body. Pleasant.
