Bottle. Raspberry and apple aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head and mild effervescence. Very sweet raspberry and apple juice flavor. Okay body. Alco-pop - nothing unpleasant. --- Beer merged from original tick of Redd's Raspberry Ale on 04 Nov 2017 at 00:03 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 2.5. 355ml clear bottle twist off. Pours a clear gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived white head that fully dissipates. Sweet aroma of artificial raspberry. Sweet flavour of apple cider, raspberry and sugar with a slightly tart finish. Light body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. More of a cider than a fruit beer, either way it's not very good.

Right from the clear twist off bottle into my pie hole. Yellow & clear. Consider the last redd ale was a blue berry and a bust. This stuff smells like raspberry candy. Taste is raspberry, somewhat artificial, with a volatile malt beverage alky laced feel. Not as bad as that stupid ass blue berry but it is a difficult malt beverage to drink. Curious about the ingredients, can’t fins any on the label. Actually, I’m not sher how much authentic ale is really in here, I’d think less than 25%. Tastes OK, but it wears on my patience and, makes me crave a cheap pale lager with no sweet cloying fru-fru-fruity flavors.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a slight, transient white head. Cooked raspberry aroma. Med minus body. Despite the raspberry it’s pretty sweet. Probably not the best way to abuse the body.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a yellow gold color with a small foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was apple and faint artificial raspberry. The flavor was apple and faint artificial raspberry. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Clear pale gold pour with a tiny white head and poor retention. No lacing. Tastes and drinks like a light raspberry soda with a light apple mix. Easy-drinking alco-pop. Not beer. High carbonation. Refreshing.
