Pours light pink with a very thick white head. Aroma of tart fruit. Taste is fruity and refreshing, tart musk finishes. Palate has a lingering light tart note. Good beer.

12oz can picked up at Harmons. Pours slightly cloudy dark pink with a small pink head, light lacing. Hibiscus, herbal tea, lime. Decent, different but refreshing.

Can at Old Chicago. Best by July 14th 3019.

Smells of watermelon, lime, hibiscus, not particularly appealing to me.

Taste matches the smell but has some tartness. Whoa, I don't like this at all.

12 ounce can into signature globe glass; canned on 2/7/2019, best before 7/7/2019. Pours slightly hazy reddish/pinkish golden/orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, hibiscus, citrus peel/zest, agave, cracker, corn, white bread, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of watermelon, lime, hibiscus, agave, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, hibiscus, citrus peel/zest, agave, cracker, corn, white bread, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness; and hibiscus tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy watermelon, cucumber, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, hibiscus, citrus peel/zest, agave, cracker, corn, white bread, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, lime, hibiscus, agave, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness and tart/tangy hibiscus balance; with no astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with no yeasty notes present. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tang/tartness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an excellent fruited/spiced lager. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of watermelon, lime, hibiscus, agave, moderate pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/tangy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfect balance of clean Mexican adjunct lager flavors, vibrant fruit, and hibiscus; with nice earthy hop presence/balance for the style. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive experimental style example. Would be great for summer.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours watermelon color with a pink tinged head. Aroma is a weird mix of fruits. Med body. Flavor is fruit, but there seems to be a strong touch of cinnamon. Citrus can be picked out. Arguably watermelon as well. Agave sweetness too. I think it could have worked better without the agave. Not very dry. Spice instead of bitter.

Spotted this single bottle at the local supermarket, totally unsure what it is about but New Belgium is a preferred brewer. I lift the top and pour into a short beer glass seeing an orange-amber liquid. The head is snow white, quickly settles. I take a smell, floral and fruity. And now a drink. Yes, flowery, melon, a bit of white bread, tea, little of any normal beer taste Not really my thing.

On tap at Hacienda. Hazy, pink color, with a small, fleeting head. The aroma is lime, cucumber, celery, agave, and strawberries. Sweet and syrupy, with no bitterness. Medium body, and kinda thick. Pretty fun.

Nice opaque raspberry color with thin foam. Funky aroma. Nice flavor balance of fruit, a little tartness, hints of fruit, with a funky finish like many saisons.
