Super deep purple, violet and dark indigo coloured body, about 85% opaque, all without much of a head at all - an bright purple and pink lace that fades very quickly and leaves nothing on top. Aroma of blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and perhaps (I guess?) boysenberries with a light citrus and lemon scent and a touch of icing sugar without much else - no alcohol and no malts here at all. Light-bodied; Strong fruit notes dominate at first with the blackberries and boysenberry flavours the strongest, along with some pungent tart and soured elements along with a dash of wheat and slightly grassy and herbal elements that show more of an earthy side. Aftertaste shows the soured and tart flavours the strongest, with a large kick of blackberries and blueberries with some of the raspberry notes as well and what I assume is boysenberries that are very tart. Overall, a very nice and rich fruit-based beer that tastes much more like a berliner weisse to me than any gose, especially since I didn't pick up on any salt, brine or savoury components - just tart, sour and very light. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-January-2020 for US$2,97 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away, on 22-May-2020.

Boysenberry, salt, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy ruby red with large pink but short lasting head. Minimally sweet boysenberry, wheat malt, lightly salty, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Tasty.
