Interesting black and red label on a 12 oz can. Big foamy head on a beer that is darker yellow than expected. Smell? Not much there, perhaps a little witbier olfactory? Can't tell. On the palate it surprizingly has an unexpected malt background to it. Decent co2. Now, to call this a witbier? IDK. Its quite a bit darker than the better brewed wits I know and it lacks the civility that you would expect from the wits of the old country. Almost treads into the territory of wheat ale. Nob really bad but less refreshing than I thought it would be.

Not bad, subtle wheat notes leading to clove and vanilla and grass, finished off with a mild herbal finish laced with yeast.

Very hazy copper and slightly bronze coloured body with an insanely large, eight to ten centimetre tall pure white head that fades relatively quickly, but still lasts a long time, given its initial height. Aroma of pure coriander seed, bubble gum, curacao, wheat, canned corn and a dash of bananas - very nice for the most part. Light-bodied; Slightly tart flavour from lemons up front, but then the pure wheat and banana notes with a ton of bubble gum and coriander seed freshness, along with a dry and soft grainy flavour and a touch of sweetness from caster sugar on the finish. Aftertaste shows more of the soft wheat with a lot of the yeast complexities this brings, but the bananas and bubble gum are by far the strongest, in a good way. Overall, this is very refreshing, especially after a long day in the heat at an amusement park - this is great! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Crystal City Win Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 29-March-2019 for US$2,20 sampled in my hotel room here in Williamsburg, Virginia on 02-June-2019.
