One of the American beers using spontaneous microbes put into a can. A golden ale base brewed into an oak foeder previously used for a spontaneous, coolship inoculated beer. World’s Blood was brewed on top of the existing microbes in a solera method and allowed to finish out and age in the foeder. It was then packaged and refermented in cans with the original microbes and an addition of champagne yeast. Bright fruit reminiscent of stone fruit and cherries, with classic spontaneous phenols in the nose.

11th June 2019, Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange Group in Chez Sophie. Cheers Paolo (I think) for this US Pint can. Light urine yellow with a wispy white head. Lemons ruled the nose and taste, too tart for me.

Tall can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, June 19. Thanks to either Simon or Jeremy. Pours misty yellow, small white head. Fruity wild aroma. Taste is crisp, fruity lemon with a wild ferm vibe.. some tart citric moments. Nice wallpaper effect to the label too.

Light malt and lemon peel aroma. Hazy pale yellow with minimal head. Minimally sweet lemon, biscuit malt, mildly sour citric acid, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light body. Okay but very light and straight forward.
