33 cl bottle @ Utsjoki, BBE 31.03.2024 Aroma is heavy and sweet with malt, alcohol, licorice and toffee. Flavour has alcohol, molasses, sweet malt, some licorice and coffee. Also some malty sweetness typical to east European porters. Good slow sipper, perhaps a bit too sweet and sharp on alcohol though.

Bottled (From Alko Web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolaty, roasted, ashy, alcoholic somewhat sweet syrupy too. Flavour is coffee, roasted, chocolaty, some alcohol sweetness, ashes and some dried fruits.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a good off-white frothy head. Aroma: Dark malt, esters, prunes, chocolate, hop. Taste: Moderately sweet, low to light bitterness. Dark malts, cookies, distant oak and vanilla. Mouth feel: medium plus body, soft carbonation. Bottom line: Could have been a little better. Especially in terms of taste.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, miniscule head. Aroma of custard and coffee. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and dark chocolate overrun by vanilla. Low bitterness. Shallow and one dimensional.

Bottle 33 cl. Dark brown, weak coffee foam. Aroma: good, sweet, chocolate and vanilla, a little coffee and smoked, sweet but moderate, a little liqueur, black bread. Sweet taste, caramel, cocoa and chocolate, alcoholic, strong, vanilla, noticeable bitterness, good brew.
