30 November 2018. Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to Anke, tderoeck & 77ships! Cloudy black with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head; little lacing. Inviting aroma of coffee roast, vanilla, custard, earth, walnut, roasted peanut, fondant. Taste is medium malty sweet, quite nutty with cream, chocolate & 'woody' vanilla too; light to medium roasted bitterness brings fondant, toasted bread & roasted nuts. Dry, toasty finish, some peppery hops, lingering nuts & vanilla, warming cream liqueur alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Tasty, rich, more refined than the Going Dark Wild Turkey next to it.
