Citra Blast I.P.A is an east coast style ipa brewed with huge amounts of Citra Hops (20gr/lt).
This is one of the first real examples of what seven island brewery can do.
To all the hopheads ,cheers!!!

Mersmak.

Keg at the Beer Merchants Tap - Hackney. Pours clear orange-gold with a tight, creamy white head. The nose holds semi-ripe citrus, orange rind, pine, pale grains. Light-medium sweet flavour with more ripened citrus fruits, rindy bitterness, hay, orange, bitter pine, pale bread, booze. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, somewhat resinous, lightly faded pine, more rind, full citrus character. Maybe it's a little faded or something, but this is nothing special.

330mL bottle, courtesy of rouhlas (thanks Nikos!), pours a cloudy bright orange with a medium white head - looks beautiful. Aroma is loaded with citra hops, i.e. loads of pine, some resins, and lots of citrus. Flavour is just lovely, with an assertive blast of citrus and piney hops upfront, with a hint of a floral character, and a crisp biscuity malt base. Pleasantly bitter and structured expertly. Excellent beer.

Draught @ Hop City 2018, Leeds. Citrusy, grassy and piney with some crisp herbal hops and malts. Okay, but maybe not quite worth the hype.

Keg at hop city 2018. A mostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a frothy creamy head. Aroma is sticky orange brown sugars, pine needles. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, brown toasted malts, little pine resins, bark, little harsh.. Palate is semi sweet sticky hop, moderate carbonation, little creamy. Ok.

Bottle, thanks to Nikos! Super happy to get ahold of this given its ratings to date (although they are dominated by reviewers with barely enough ratings to count. Hmmm). Pours surprisingly amber, mostly clear, medium off white head, that lasts a while and laces well. Aroma is nice, tropical citrus, mango, oranges, light biscuit malty base. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, tropical and a tad malty. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. This is a well crafted beer that has no obvious flaws and avoids the potential pitfalls of Citra gone wrong. Too much of a malt backbone for my true sweet spot, but its a strong beer.
