A dark-amber colored beer with a rich flavor and robust malt character that is commonly consumed during the coldest winter months. Our Bock is fermented slowly and lagered longer to ensure a smooth finish. Kick bock and enjoy a cold one!

(Thanks, Jim! Ozzy70) Can. A- Caramel, slightly nutty. A- Copper brown color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, fruitcake, honey, brown sugar. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- Everything I've had from Schell has been equally as tasty as anything I've had in Germany. They just do classic very well.

Aroma is pretty straight forward dark malt. Flavors are much more interesting, dark malt roast a nice balance between bitter and sweet with decent carbonation. Body is a touch thin. Pretty good for a traditional bock.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread with some light caramel and a touch of sweet grains. Flavor has bread throughout with a decent amount of toffee, light caramel and a hint of sweet grains.

Tap at Winterfest. I don’t know how I have managed to go so many years without rating this. Medium sweet. Some flavor or caramel and tons of malt, with a sweet finish. I understand the recipe for this beer dates from the 1880s.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and alcohol, leading to a ry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle in hotel room, picked up at a Hy-Vee in Lincoln, NE. Pours a dark copper appearance with a tan head. Somewhat nutty, dark toffee, caramel malty, hay, somewhat fruity aroma. Nutty, rich caramel malty, a bit fruity flavor that is a bit overly sweet.
