33cl bottle from Coop Supermarkt Basel Gundeli. Head is medium, white, good retention. Aroma is malty, light hoppy, bit bready. Taste is medium malty base, light bready, bit hoppy, mineral water touch, medium carbonation, drinkable.

330ml bottle, from Christmas gift box thanks to Eric for this. Pours gold with a faint mist, small white head. Aroma is light pale malt, light bready notes. Taste is similarly smooth, bready, doughy sweet, yeast, some mild grains, diacetyal and honey hints. It's a passable blonde.

[Basel 2018] Sampled @ brewery. Golden, small white head. Nose is butter grain, sweet plastic. Basic oily plastic, sugar & butter meh.

Tap at tibits Basel. Pours golden with the slightest hint of haze, but almost no foam. I assume that?s the tap that they use. Aroma is dominated by light malts with some grassy hops, not too shy altogether. Taste of the medium body is lightly sweet with some hop flavours waving from afar, as if to show they were actually used, but not taking the stage. Round and pretty smooth experience until there. A bit flat, maybe. Bitterness is more notable on the palate. Speaking of it, the palate is an undecided mix of the body leasing into it, some hops that finally want to be noted, the bitterness finally kicking in and the carbonation deciding it doesn?t exist anymore. Needs more harmony there. All in all nothing outstanding, with an aroma and a taste which work and a palate that disappoints.

Bottle brought home from Switzerland by a relative. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and hay. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Very little bitterness for a pilsener. 021115

Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, süß, schwach hopfig. Geschmack getreidig malzig, wenig hopfig, sehr unauffällig.
