Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, spicy hops, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spicy hops, wine, wood, and a bit of funk, leading to a dry finish.

Keyaki on Friday. Again on Sunday and it didn't seem quite so nice, but on Friday... Good stuff, great oaky and sour aroma. Taste is soft, sour, oak, vinous, bit creamy. Not much trace of the original beer. But very nice.

750 ml. bottle split by 2 @ hostel in ZΓΌrich. Murky red mess with no head. Nose is sour wine leaves, pure wine, fermenting, acidic. Taste is super vinous, rotting wine, milky, near flat, wine leaves, vinous, fermenting malted red wine really, not bad but way worse than the base beer which is 100 % lost here, zero base, still decent but bad BA treatment really, shame really at this price.

Tap at Koht. Pours hazy yellow-orange, not that much carbonation there. When picking up the glass, feeling that sour autumn aroma gushing out at a good intensity. Funky sourness, fermenting apples and some apple seed bitterness in the nose. Taste reveals nicely sour body, actually tolerable level of acidity, nicely funky. All sweetness form the base beer is gone, nice acidic bone-dry finish. I do enjoy this kind of sours, maybe particular beer is not overly deep or multi-layered but still a very nice one.

A cloudy orange gold with a minimal beige head and the aroma is bready spice with wine and tannic acidic fruit notes. The medium to light body gives you flavors of oak and acidic fruits. Quite nice but not what we were expecting.

Sample from bottle @ De Molen, thanks Menno & John. Hazy golden/orange color. Quickly disappearing head. Aroma’s: brett, funk, with some sourness retronasal. Flavor ismoderate sour with some sweetness and brett-notes. Medium bodied. Finish is vinous, brett-funky. Nope.

Tap at Oedo Beer Matsuri. I think it was this one. Acetic nose, vinegar, yogurt, cherry. Very tart with lots of yogurt and cream, cherries. This is approaching a Rodenbach Vin de Cereal. Woody, crisp and tasty with great balance.

Hazy light amber color. Very sour dry nose with tons of oak, dried mangoes, leather, very malty. Very tart, reminds me of alesmith old ale. The red wine plays in the background. Medium full body. Super well put together. Big oaky with dried mango finish. Excellent

Keyaki fall 2016. Big crisp white wine grape nose with some lemony tartness, borderline chemical though. Crisp and clean on the palate with assertive tartness. Vinegar, muscat, gooseberry all on the palate. Feels light on the palate without much of the original beer to be found however. Zippy tart finish. I can’t decide if the tartness is great or bordering on chemical off-flavor.
