Can. Slightly cloudy, gold color with a small head. Aroma is like cheap ginger ale. Taste was like a nasty ginger ale soda mixed with cheap beer.

12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 12/19/2016. Pours hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, ginger, peach, pear, wheat, cracker, light honey, light pepper/clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus, ginger, pale malt, and light fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, ginger, peach, pear, wheat, cracker, light honey, light pepper/clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, ginger, peach, pear, wheat, cracker, light pepper/clove, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of citrus, ginger, pale malt, and light fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very nice shandy style. All around nice robustness and balance of citrus, ginger, pale malt, and light fruity yeast flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the ABV, and not overpowering on the ginger like I expected. Still tastes like a wheat beer and not a ginger ale. A very enjoyable offering.

12 oz can from the winter variety pack. I have three new Leinenkugel’s shandies available right now and I can barely contain my excitement. Aroma is packed with ginger and lemon, some light cheese. Pours cloudy orange-yellow with a thick white head with decent retention. Tastes like ginger ale, lemonade and a bland American wheat ale base, which is what it is, I guess. The ginger provides some mild heat I realize the longer I drink it. Simple beer/soft drink mashup that is exactly what it claims to be, nothing more. It doesn’t taste bad, and it’s good for simple refreshment, but it’s nothing I would ever pay full price for or ever seek out again after this rating. 100 times better than the foul Cranberry Ginger edition included in this pack, by the way.

Can from the summer mix pack, conveniently drank right out of the can (again). Maybe It’s the redneck in me; I snugged it away in a red cozy and never looked back. Light and airy aroma, nice ginger smell. Ginger and a little wheat, hey this is pretty alright. Maybe a little too much ginger, but overall I thought this was ok. Exceeded my expectations, but after the orange shandy the bar wasn’t set too high.

From a can Bryan gave me. Taste is smooth easy with just a light shade of ginger in thar fer the buds. Fun, with a light nose of ginger ale, barely perceivable. Friendly mild wheat effects mimic hefe without the spicy bubblegum or banana effects. More like a witbier with some ginger ale added & I don’t mind that a bit. Yes, mild easy beer that goes down similar to a soda with a half shot of tasteless grain. Good shandy job.

Sample at the "Drink Moar Beer!" tasting on 06/12/2015: Hazy straw color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Wheat, ginger and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, mildly spicy ginger and wheat. The finish is fruity with a ginger aftertaste. Average overall.

Can. Light wheat beer flavor, like a wheat ale. There is ginger in the flavor, and it is a lot of it. Light palate. Ok. Could use more of the flavor of a good wheat beer.

Pours a hazy yellow from a can. Aroma of a true ginger ale, maybe some lemon. Flavor is kind of like cleaning solution. Meh.
