A little citrus and yeast in the nose, but completely dominated by basil - from the dry-basilation...! Light body, again dry citrus notes, actually almost astringently dry, with these heavy basil accents. Ends fairly bitter actualy. 120512

Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, herbs, basil, peppery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Hazy blond color with greenish hue, and small head. Delicate aroma, some herbal, mint or basil. The underlying wheat beer has some character; the herbal comes through, mix of basil and lemon peel, with an impression of rosemary; quite strong bitterness in the end.
I would probably see the basil better with a fresher and lighter beer, a more neutral yeast.

Hazy blond color. Strong herbal aroma, almost minty, basil. Dry mouthfeel, with basil flavor over the yeast; astringent final.
Ok, happy to have tried this experiment too, that’s all.
