An exceptionally smooth taste in a premium draft beer. Cold filtered and brewed the Michelob way.

On tap at the Biergarten. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a musty bread note with a bit of grain backing. Flavor is thin with bread and grain notes and a touch of corn.

Pale Lager tick courtesy of TheHOFF43. 12oz clear glass bottle with screw top cap pours with a clear pale gold body that supported a short lived near white head. The aroma offers up some sweet smelling fruity esters as well as floral hops and a bit of spicy hops. The taste confirms as I get a mix of pear and apple like sweet fruity esters that are cut by above average carbonation that scissors through the sweetness and leading the way toward muted and mild floral to spicy to slightly lime like hops. Nothing wrong with this and the estery sweetness is balanced somewhat which is nice but… It ends fairly neutral and free of after taste. When it’s a 110F out this might do the trick. Don’t know.

12 oz. bottle. Gee, thanks TheHOFF43. Pours pale yellow, with a big, quickly dissipating, off-white head. The aroma is corn syrup, very light noble hops, and a touch of caramel. Sweet, very light bitterness, and a slight, sticky, medicinal note in the finish. Light body, sticky, with low carbonation. This is a relatively inoffensive beer, but with the flavor is just a little unpleasant; enough to make this worse than the average macro lager.

Big fucken can @ Exira Beer Summit IV, Day 3. Thanks to bnielsen13! Pours a clear light yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Really spritzy, watery, corny aroma. Bland, very light bodied, watery flavor. Some vanilla, husky grains, and corn but really watery. Great, easy drinker for beer pong.

lightly sweet, lightly grainy, i dont know, not a horribly offensive alcohol flavor or much cereal grainage flavor, but still had a lingering syrupy crap malt taste. Reminded me alot of waffle crisp cereal in texture and flavor. This sweetness is proabably worse as it gets too cloying instead of just being watery.

It does have the smooth taste as promised. Standard light, but better than miller. Lacking in taste when compared to regular mgd. drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Michelob Golden Light on 20 Aug 2018 at 22:51 - Score: 0. Original review text: 8/10/03
