Galaxy High, meet your American brother, Citra High. What’s different? We took Galaxy High and substituted American hops for the Australian hops (Citra for Galaxy and Simcoe for Topaz). The result? An Americanized double IPA fruit bomb!

Can drank for Aris! Hazy viscous looking vixen. Thin creamy head. Nose is very faint hops perfume. Initial taste impact is a big kick in the taste bud balls. After a small swig there is a slight warming sensation in the mouth. I can barely stand the big hops flavor of this, its pretty fricken hoppy rude. The feel of this stuff is like thicker oil with a tad of carbonation but forget the carbonation, you never really notice its there. Its so blasting buds bitter. Bastard it is. I think I'm starting to feel the force. Big nasty balls, this stuff sucks. To keep from gagging every sip, its all I can do. I must say, for the alky kick it delivers, its a cheap ass $2 brew in a can. Two of these for 4$ you get pissed. You like hops? This is very one sided. Try this, it will knock your hops socks off. One rude ass happy bullshit of a hoppy haphazard beer. I'll give it an extra dizzy point overall for being so euphoric at the end of the can. hehehhehh

On tap at Hunah Day. Pours a hazy orange gold with frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus and pine. Slick body, juicy, grapefruit, mango, pine, light bitterness, very good.

On tap at HopCat, pours a hazy golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dank cat piss hops, with biscuity malt and pine. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops, some citrus and biscuity malt. Lots of dry hops on the finish, with no residual sweetness. Nice stuff.

12oz can from alexdad06 pours a hazy neon orange with some frothy white head. Nose is a blend of tropical fruits like guava and some melon, and citrus with tangerine and orange, some grass, candy. Flavor follows, some candy sweetness and honey, bubblegum too, tangerine, mango, guava, a little carrot cake. Full bodied and juicy on the end.

Can: Pours cloudy, amber-brown with a short, off-white head. Sweet, caramel malt, orange, grapefruit scent. Taste is more tropical...orange and pineapple...piney, mild grapefruit-peel bitter. A very good one, this.

Can (thanks to phaleslu). Lemon-peach malt and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange, lemon, pineapple, malt, and strong bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Nice balance - not too sweet. Very nice.

Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/09/2015. Clear orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of citrus, hops and roast malt. Medium to full body with flavors of citrusy hops, pine and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Poured from a can dated 04/27/2015. Aroma is fairly hoppy with a large simcoe character of grapefruit and resin with a medium light citrus and light tropical fruit note. Some medium light alcohol notes with some light caramel and biscuit. Pours a hazy, orange with a bit of a copper hue and a medium sized, white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin film that lingers. Moderate lacing and longish legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with some light caramel. Strong bitterness with medium strong hop notes of grapefruit, orange and resin with lighter tropical fruit notes. Some medium light alcohol spice in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied and slightly sticky with moderate carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a surprisingly nice, big IPA with a not too sweet character. Nice bitterness. It doesn’t have the hop character of some of the very best TIPAs, but the malt presence isnt overwhelming and the alcohol is nicely hidden.
