It does have the hop aroma, now if it only had the hop flavor. Plenty of bitterness and some malt to stand up to it. Body’s not bad. Long bitter finish. Kind of two dimensional.

Pours a very cloudy yellow-orange with no head. Aroma is citrusy and almost a bit soapy. Flavor is a nice balance between sweet and hoppy. Oily mouthfeel and bitter finish. Strong contender.

Bottle shared at a tasting. Pours a hazy orange with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, floral, citrus hops and pale malt. The taste is bitter citrus hops, pale malt. Thin bodied, astringent, lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color. Thin white head with minimal lacing. Aroma is a bit off. Earthy hops and sweet malt throughout. Bitter and malty at the same time; weird. Full bodied with average carbonation. Not my favorite IPA profile.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Supermarket Liquor Fort Collins and shared with LeninCat. Pours a milky orange appearance with an off white head. Bubblegum, grapefruit, sweet citrus fruit aroma with a bit of booze. Bitter and boozy. Kind of chunky, chewy toasted malty flavor with bubblegum and some tropical fruit notes. This bottle is pretty old but the beer doesn’t show much promise.

Cloudy, orange-amber with a short, thick, off-white head. Bread and pine aroma. Caramel, earthy bitter...old teal leaves and wood. Just hop bitter...no spark. Blaah.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a ton of floaties and a medium white head that slowly dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is caramel and biscuit, plus a bit of pine. Flavor is about the same, medium sweet and light bitter strengthening to medium in the far finish. Pretty damn unexciting, but actually not bad if you don’t think of it as an IPA.

Sampled from the bottle at the Mundelin beer fest. Pours a hazy deep amber orange with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of musty earthy pine and grass with a backing earthy grain note. Flavor has earthy sweet grains with a musty pine note and a bit muddling.
