A full bodied porter that gets its dark luscious color from the generous use of roasted malts. We bring just enough hops to balance out the hefty malt backbone but leave the stars of the show to shine. You will get just the right amount of chocolate and peanut butter to question whether you’re drinking a glass of delicious suds or popping a peanut butter cup in your mouth.

Can: Poured a black color porter with a mediums size dark brown foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of peanut butter and chocolate is quite intense. Taste is also dominated by loads of peanut butter and chocolate notes with a syrupy finish. Body is light with good carbonation. Flavours are too intense which limits drinkability.

12 oz. can traded to me by Eric S. Thanks for the chance. No can date code, just a series of numbers on the bottom. Black color with some slow dying bubbly laces that sticks to the side of the glass. Aroma has light roast with a huge amount of peanut butter!

Flavor has roasted grain and lasting peanut putter through the the entire sip. Is must be peanut extract because it is crazy strong! The texture is a little gritty. Maybe a tad chalky. Charred grain With a little bit of bitterness. I love peanut butter and this is forward in that regard! Awesome dessert brew.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 5/22/15

Aroma: This one has an amazing aroma, basically a Reece's peanut butter cup, yes please
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color with small, light brown head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor of this one is close to the aroma, but brings out the beer qualities, it has a sweetness and a good bitterness that are in-line with chocolate, peanut butter, and dry roasted peanuts.
Palate: The body is medium, fairly clean feel, with a lively carbonation leads to a semi-dry finish
Overall Impression: This is super legit. Way exceeded my expectations. It has a great Reece's cup aroma which leads right into the kind of flavor that you would expect from a Reece's peanut butter cup beer, but somehow has a bunch of beer components too. I want more of this, which makes it unlike pretty much anything else Horny Goat I have had. If you like Peanut Butter Cups, you'll absolutely enjoy this one.

Bottle. Chocolate-peanut butter toffee aroma - smells like a Butterfinger or a Chick o Stik. Dark brown with large tan head. Sweet chocolate-peanut butter malt and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Nice - finally a Horny Goat worth drinking more than once.

Bottle: Pours black with a frothy tan head. Aroma is EXACTLY like sniffing a jar of peanut butter. Flavour is cola, chocolate malt, peanut butter.....again, very accurate...down to a slight peanut-shell bitter..... Hands down, the best presentation of peanut butter flavouring in a beer I’ve had to date.

On tap at the bocktown. Look I like peanut butter so this smells like a dream. Dark as black stout. I’ve had a lot of beers from goat, some in the bottle others on tap, nice mix. but I haft to say this beer is better than most HG beers. Certainly peanut butter on the palate and buds but there is this mild alky thing going on.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark brown head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was chocolate, peanut butter, roasty malts and marshmallow. The flavor was roasty and somewhat bitter with notes of coffee, dry cocoa and peanuts. Long dry and roasty finish with lingering coffee and nut. Medium body. Interesting.

Bottle at the source. From notes. Been wanting to try this one for a while. Great brew. Smells and tastes just like a dark chocolate peanut butter cup.
