This crisp pale ale is named after U.S. Crystal hops, which give the beer its distinctive American hop character. The classic aroma and citrusy, floral flavor that the Crystalhops provide are balanced by a subtle earthy note from U.K. hops. Cheers

Bottle shared in the Holiday Inn Express - Geneva, NY. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The aroma has some floral hops, pine needles, bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavor with more bready pale malts, some ripe orange, pine. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly citric n the finish, slight grains, citrus fruits pale bread. OK.

12 oz bottle from the spring variety pack. Don’t know how I missed this one, I thought I had rated it. Aroma is a little muted--faintly chalky, floral. Pours clear burnt orange with a medium long-sustaining bone white head. Taste is dry, lightly bitter with citrus and earthy flavors. No flaws but pretty boring.

Fair pale ale. Nice bright nose, lime rind citrus, floral. Flavor is dy, crackery, and the hops move to herbal/floral. I like crystal hops only a little better than cascade, and I don’t like cascade very much. Nice golden color.

Bottle: Clear, amber-copper with a creamy, off-white head. Grapefruit, lemon, grassy scent. Taste is sweet, then slightly grassy bitter, caramel malt, orange. Clean and solid... Nice and sessionable.

12oz bottle. Tight/foamy offwhite head with trailing lace-gold. A-soft citrus/pine/grassy, some lt malt. T-lemon/orange zest hops with a slight pine note, some lt malt-bready. Flavor and bitter come to a near complete finish fairly quickly.

Pours clear amber into a Sam glass. Soapy off-white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet caramel and resin aromas. Dry with stale earth and sour roots front to back and through the nasty finish.

Pours a golden amber from a bottle. Aroma is floral hops, flavor is citrusy grapefruit with some sweet maltiness. Finishes with a nice hit of bitterness. Good beer.
