Can from the lcbo. Incredibly malty ipa. Overly sweet hops, sticky pine and sugar added candied citrus rind. This is actually pretty rough. Very malty, and sweet, and actually slightly nutty, with some roast in the end. Very low bitterness, cloying finish. I wonder if this was decent before In bev bought this brewery?

Lots of woody notes for sure like playing flamenco on a cherrywood strat. Makes for a pretty bitter finish. A little citrus. Bottle from mixed six.

This IPA poured a clear deep amber colour with an very light deep yellow, creamy head. Scents include pineapple and lemon citrus. Maybe some grass and malt. First swig was a little thin. Hoppy without the bitterness. Flavours of lemon, grass and tea. Finish is malty with the citrus and tea flavour lingering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from the LCBO. Clear dark amber with a large rocky off white head that lingers and leaves tight lace. Nose is toffee, flowers and citrus with some light pine. Light+ sweet malts with a medium bitterness and herbal notes. Mouth is slick but a bit thin with average carbonation. A little too sweet in the start. 7+/4/7-/3/14

On tasting at High Point liquor store. Pours a golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty, tropical fruits (candied citruses). Very good and pleasant.

Extraordinarily mediocre IPA. Nice enough herbal/floral hop nose, some citrus. Malts heavy, earthy, a bit buttery and vegetal. Lacks sufficient hop presence.

Mild resinous hoppy aroma with floral and yeasty hints; slight malt. Beautiful clear, reddish-copper pour with a 2-finger width, lasting, foamy, off-white head that lasts. Nice lacing. Taste is not overly hoppy--in fact it’s not overly anything. Lightly sweet with some yeasty sour and mild bitter. Light-bodied with thin texture and soft carbonation that leaves a nice feeling on the roof of your mouth, with a nice long finish. Overall, a beer whose best qualities are other than taste, the one that I think is the most important. Not bad, by any stretch but can’t understand the high ratings this gets--difference on tap (versus the bottle I had)?
