Rerate from tap. Cloudy orange, white cream. Fresh noble hop aroma (Hersbrucker?), medium light mellow body. Chewy straw and cracker malt, broad classic fresh hops. Really nice and quaffable. 5 3 7 3 12 Tap. Dusty, light sulphuric hops. Cloudy, light grey orange, offwhite lace. Light fruity, bitterhop/grassy, bitter orange, dusty finish. Tiny bit lifeless today

May ’15. On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy golden body with medium sized head. Sweetish, lightly chalky aroma. Flavor was lightly sweet honey/vanilla with a moderate herbal bitter counterpart. Earthy and dusty as well, with tingling carbonation on palate which was not expected. Fine anyway. Medium body with finish that followed the taste pretty much. Simple and pleasant summer thirst quencher.

On tap at Paulaner Brauhaus Munich. As Brauhaus Zwickl 5.4% Cloudy amber beer. Nutty toffee aroma. Decent zwickl. Decent hop on the finish. Light caramel. Simple light over carbonated zwickl. Some nettle hop. I thought zwickl was supposed to be soft carbonation? This is just too harsh on the finish.

Draft at Paulaner Im Tal - Munich. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds mellow creamed corn and more general cereal. Light-medium sweet with cereal grains, straw and white bread. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly salty, with more cereal. Tasty, drinkable.

On tap at the Brewpub: Trübes gelbes Zwickel mit schönem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.

Tap at the brewpub Munchen 23/1/14. Haze golden orange coloured pour with a steadfast white head. Aroma is sweet grain, orange and light crisp hops. Flavour is nice and grainy, nutty malts. Tasty beer. Some citrus hops in the finish.
