Clear gold with a white head. Nice citrus and grassy hops with a solid rye bite. The aroma is a tad sweeter than it tastes though there is some light malt sugars in the flavor, too. Finishes with a lingering bitterness. Thin bodied. Very refreshing. I’d have a few of these in a sitting.

In the can @ home, thanks to michcam for sending! Pours a clear golden orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma is fairly floral and herbal with some spice, toasted bread, and light citrus. Mouth feel is a little watery and thin. Low sweetness. Moderate high bitterness. Spicy malts, twangy, rye, and some pine. Bleh.

Sample at Gallo’s Tap Room. The beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, malt and citrus. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz. can shared by westmeister at Ale Alpharetta. Pours gold, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is strong rye notes of funky earthiness, with notes of hay, and some light floral hopping. Significant, but mellow, bitterness, with light sweetness. Light body, sticky, and crisp. Overall, there isn’t a lot going on, but this is a still a nice, drinkable, and tasty rye pale ale.

(Thanks Peter "phaleslu") Can. A- Citrus, piney. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Earthy, lemon citrus, slightly piney, subtle bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- I’d say this style is more IPA than "specialty grain". Very drinkable and well balanced. The rye is pretty subtle but adds some spice. I like the citrus and piney notes that go along with it. Overall, a solid ale.
