On tap at the Mail Box, Lincoln. Golden Amber colour with a white head. Didn’t notice any Lavender in the aroma, but did get citrus. Slight bitter taste and finish.

Black Heart. Keg. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light pale malts. Nice touch of mellow lavender, would have been easy to over do it. Trace of citrus. Light crisp finish. Light, floral and crisp.

Bottle: Poured clear gold, slightly off-white head. Minimal scent...a bit of honey and lavender. Mild, lightly fruited taste, floral. Very bland....fairly tasteless.

Bottle (labeled "Yorkshire Lavender" purchased from Yorkshire Lavender Gardens - assuming this is the beer as they would only tell me that it was brewed by a ’local’ brewery). Honey and lavender aroma. Golden yellow with medium head. Lightly sweet honey and very light malt flavor. Mildly bitter herbal finish. Not bad - very light.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 25/08/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet citrus fruit aroma with some grassy hops and a hint of lavender. Slightly oily mouth feel, with more orange fruit and a herbal lavender edge. Unusual.
