19th May 2015: Laguna Niguel, California. 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged stemmed tulip while cooking oven chips and Bratwurst. Clear and bright amber pour, white head on top. Pleasant hop nose and flavour: not so ’in your face’ as the West Coast varieties I have been experiencing in California. This is calmer, but still hoppy first and foremost. although the bitterness is tempered by the malt content somewhat. Not for the hop heads amongst us but decent enough and a lot closer to an English IPA than a West Coast of the US style.

Caramel, grass, and pine needle nose, hoppy but almost buttery. Crystal clear amber, medium head. Toffee and dandelion flavor initially. Finishes with grass and burned biscuit. Nice use of British malt and hops to balance it out. While it doesn’t all come together so well and it’s a bit of a mess, who can complain for the price?

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy dark amber with 2 fingers of thick off-white head. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit with a hint of pine. Taste is light bitter. Mostly citrus with a hint of caramel. Light bodied with an oddly creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Not "extreme" by any means but simple and enjoyable.

Bottle. Orange malt and metallic orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange malt and moderate bitter orange peel/quinine flavor. Not horrible but rough.

Pours clear, bubbly amber with a tall, off-white head. Scent is grassy hop, light caramel. Flavour is mildly bitter, citrus peel.... A little leafy/earthy. Fairly straightforward, mild IPA. Easygoing.
