6 pack upon release, bottled, back in Summer 2013. Clear, medium-amber. Small, off-white head, moderate retention. Clean and bready with a bit of herbal and floral hop notes to balance. Good, fruity, estery yeast with a bit of pepper and no diacetyl. Toast isn't too prominent. Lots of lingering cherry-vanilla. Soft, with a good grainy toastiness and moderately deep malts. Good attenuation with a bit of sweetness on the end complementing the very fruity, cherry and vanilla-laden yeast notes. Bread, earth, herbal and peppery hops. Clean, balanced.

bottle - This brew has a rich caramel aroma and a resiny caramel malt flavor with mild bitterness. It’s medium bodied, well balanced, and good.

Pours a clear bronze-orange color with a medium thick and foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, caramel and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, earthy hops and a touch of fruit. The finish is moderately sweet with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent ESB overall.

Bronze appearance. Nose is earthy and mild with cedar and nutty notes. Interesting floral taste up front, hit immediately by a striking candy corn bitterness and sweetness. I’ts not bad but also nothing too challenging.

Bottle. Amber body with a frothy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine twigs, herbs, toasted grain, molasses, earthy hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Lots of caramel and earthy hops in the taste. Some peppery notes. Dense, muddled, disappointing.

Bottle poured into a shaker. From notes. Citrus and pine with a good dose of roasty caramel. Pretty good.
