Bottle. Light brown in color. Aroma is well balanced. Taste is also well balanced but not great.

Hazy brown and amber coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of yeast, pungent malt and a hint of light spices, not much else. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong pungent deep bitterness with not much of a yeast component nor anything remotely spicey - this is just funky malts and unpleasant sweetness with no hops. Aftertaste is simple and quite bitter - nothing pleasant here. Overall, not a belgian ale nor an APA or an EPA, this is just plain bad with a style most in common with an amber ale, pure and simple. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle pulled from a autumn sampler on 25-October-2014.

Bottle, from mixed-pack. Poured a hazy, bubbly copper color with a foamy white head. Aroma was light pale malts, sweetness, lots of carbonation. Flavor was sweet malt notes, that’s about it. Nothing offensive. A little boring. Would probably only drink again if someone bought one of these box sets.

Bottle: Golden amber color with a little beige head. Nose is mild, caramel malt, and herbal. I get a little of the orange peel in the taste, but it seems more malty than anything. Belgian qualities are absent. I didn’t mind this, but overall it was pretty dull.

This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a hazy orange to ruddy brown color with a one finger foamy to bubbly white head that dissipated within less than about forty seconds. The lacing left a lot to be desired. What was there was messy and slid within seconds into the beer.
The smell had some light spice and then some light orange peel. Some light sweet lemon came in and then some toasted caramel.
The taste took those flavors and meshed them fairly nicely. There was a light spicy orange peel aftertaste that lead into a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still not really overbearing.
Overall, I say this was a decent Belgian pale ale. I might not seek it out but probably wouldn’t turn one down.

12oz bottle picked up at the state store
Pours clear dark golden with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, spicy and citrus. Flavors of malts, floral (hibiscus?), wheat and citrus
It was OK, but I wouldn’t order another.

Mild tea nose.Clear copper, thick yellow head. Tea and aspartame, somewhat cloying. Some grass and orange notes. Exactly what is Belgian about this? Not very good.

Bottle. A- Odorless, bland, subtle caramel. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Bland, P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, abrupt finish. O- A poor representation of a Belgian Ale. Not only that, but this has hardly any taste or aroma or anything. If I close my eyes, I could swear I was drinking water. Just a disappointment.
