The radiant copper-orange hue and rocky, off-white head of our traditional Märzen-style lager comes from generous amounts of Munich malt. Caramel malt aromas complement the German lager yeast’s slightly floral aroma. Mt. Hood hops balance the substantial malt body, while the lager yeast adds a subtlety to the flavor, making this a great rendition of a classic German lager. Prost!

Pours a crystal clear amber color with a small off-white head and fair retention. Spotty lacing. Caramel malt aroma. The flavor is a good blend of German and American Oktoberfest beers. Good bready malts up front and a sweet caramel malt finish. Smooth and satisfying. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness.

(Bottle) Amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, dried apricots, treacle-toffee and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, toffee, dried apricots, orange, toast and a fairly low bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Subtle, harmonious and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a deep, coppery golden with a lacing off-white head. Clean, sweet maltdriven aroma. Medium body, sweet and toffeeish with nothing much else. Only a hint of hops. Clean and well made for the style. 051217

Growler from Lakefront. Copper-tan-amber body, filtered. Light amber malt, noble hop touches in the aroma. A pretty straightforward fest beer, fresh and well executed. Good.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange color. Large foamy beige head. Toasted malt nose. Slightly tangy caramel malt flavor. Notes of toasted bread and light hops. Lacks the oomph of the German Oktoberfests, but pleasant nonetheless.
