Our Bavarian-style Weissbier is an authentic German-style unfiltered wheat beer, full of clove and banana characters. The unfiltered beer results in haziness, leaving the yeast and grain protein to provide extra mouth feel. While not a hoppy beer, the German Tettnang and Hallertau Tradition hops provide a minimum level of bitterness. The unique Bavarian ale yeast strain gives clove and banana flavors in the final beer.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a little bubble gum sweetness. Flavor is some wheat malt and a bit of tartness on the back end. I got no clove or banana. This was a pretty weak effort. Brought back in a can for the biergarden mix pack

Pours cloudy yellow with a short, white head. Aroma is lemon, banana... Taste is pleasant wheat,...subdued spicing....crisp. I like this...it’s beer, it’s wheat....not overblown with cloves and spice... Enjoyed it.

Bottle. Tart lemon, banana, clove, and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow color with small head. Tart lemon and wheat malt flavor. Light body. Not a bad beer but not much like a true weizen.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy dark yellow with about 1 finger of bright white head. Aroma of banana and clove. Taste is lightly sweet. Taste of banana and nutmeg. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and not much to speak of in way of finish. Overall, not too bad. Great for drinking outside during the hot days of summer but not much else.

Bottle with gooovikings in KC. Thanks Jetson! Moderately cloudy, light yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy yeasty, moderate clove, light banana, wheat malty aroma. Slightly bready, spicy, quite yeasty, moderate clove, light banana, mildly tart flavor. Yeasty aftertaste. Above average but not super special.

On tap at Bottleworks. Pour is a dusty and washed out straw with aromas of grass, bananas and wheat. Flavor is similar, simple and decent.

12 oz bottle purchased Ranchmart at in Leawood, Kansas. Brewed with love on 03 25 2011. Pour is a hazed yellow light golden with a loose two inch white head that falls quickly and noisily. Aroma is lightly sweet citrus, gentle clove and banana yeast and a full wheat. Really integrated and soft nose. The taste integrates the light citrus sweetness with the wheat beautifully, and transitions nicely to the yeast notes to spice up the finish. Really fresh, full and satisfying flavor. Palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouthfeel, clean and dry finish. Really drinkable, an excellent Hefe.
