Part of their "Harvest Collection" 12-pack, brought back from the States by my GF. Pours a slightly hazy, dark amber colour, with a creamy off-white head, decent retention and great lacing. Sweet caramel nose at first, but becomes bread-like, with malt aromas, hints of bananas and nuts. Eventually, coffee comes out with the roasted malt. Medium-bodied, with a little stick. The taste is milder, like most Sam Adams, with wheat, notes of citrus and cloves. An average malty brew with some darker wheat.

Clove and bread crust, mild banana overtones. Clear copper, medium head. Banana, lemon, and walnut flavor, graham crackers. Nicely done, true to style. Flavorful, but a little too thin in the mouthfeel. Maybe just a bit too tart and citrusy as well.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a very dark rust-orange with a half finger of quickly dissipating head...and some big flakey chunks floating around. Aroma is mostly clove and nutmeg with a hint of cinnamon and some caramel malt. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Lots of nutmeg and clove with caramel and a hint of tart granny smith apple. A good bit of banana in there too. Medium bodied with a thin yet sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a pretty long finish. Overall, not bad. I would be willing to drink this one again.

Pours medium brown under a tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh banana bread. The flavor is slightly sweet, not quite as complex as the aroma. A bit on the thin side for a Dunkelweizen, but passable. The Michelob Dunkel Wiesse is a bit better IMO for the class of "Domestic Macro Dunkelwiezens"

From a bottle poured at home. Pours a deep, hazy amber with an off white head. Fruity banana aroma and flavor without much hop present. Crisp finish. A decent, sessionalbe beer.

Pours hazy amber into a Sam glass. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to coat surface. Banana and clove aromas. Sweet dark caramel and bananas flambe upfront turning dry in the spiced nutmeg and clove finish.

Bottle from variety pack while pre gaming outside patriots game. Pours brown with semi earthy sweet nose. Tastes of malt, nutty, earth, banana, wheat, and nutmeg. Light bodied easy drinking but nice for crisp fall day like now

Not bad. Some complexity to the nose and flavor, hints of a spicy grain and phenols, light fruitiness, some caramel and a soft leafy hop. Light brown color, a little hazy, modest head. High carbonation

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a medium creamy tan head that laces well. Aroma is wheat, roasted malt, notes of lemon and banana. .flavor seems quite authentic with clear wheat, caramel, banana, and lemon notes, light sweetness, mildly astringent, banana lemon finish with just a touch of bitter. Very drinkable.

This review was imported from my RateBeer ratings.
12 oz. bottle. Appearance is amber-orange and cloudy. Head is minimal to non-existent. Aromas of banana, bubblegum, and a hint of nutmeg. Strong flavors of banana and nutmeg. Medium-body with lively carbonation and a strong, slightly dry, finish.
This is not a favorite of mine. The problem isn’t that the beer doesn’t have any flavor, it’s that it has TOO MUCH flavor. There are so many different flavors in this that it just ends up being a bizarre melange that doesn’t really work well together.
