Pour is a cloudy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice yeasty banana and clove. Flavor is more banana and clove with a little bubble gum. This is an adequate hefeweizen.

Very hazy golden and raw honey coloued body with a nice, three to four centimetre tall just off-white head that fades a touch slow. Aroma of pure wheat, with bananas, cloves, bunches of coriander seed, a little bubble gum and a lot of the German wheat. Medium-bodied; Strong wheat and yeastie flavours dominate with a dose of the spices, most notably the clove and coriander seed flavours with a touch of ever-so-light hops and a good hit of sweetness from bananas. Aftertaste shows the wheat, yeast and spices more than anything, but an easy-drinking profile from the wheat makes some of the softer sugars show through, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and enjoyable German wheat that is very easy-to-drink, but has all the right flavours that you'd expect. Perhaps, slightly yeastie and bready, but aside from that - hits the right marks. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00 (just!) sampled in my hotel room here on one of the last warm days (hopefully) of the year in Langhorne, Pennsylvania on 04-October-2019.

12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 7/24/2018. Pours moderately hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, lemon, orange, pear, red apple, wheat, white bread dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop flavors; with a solid malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a very good hefeweizen. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale/wheat malts, and mild earthy hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the minimally bitter/spicy/drying finish. Nicely flavorful for the ABV. Well balanced classic German yeast complexity and pale/wheat malts; with mild noble hop presence. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example.

Bottle. Wheat malt, light banana/orange, and light clove aroma. Hazy brassy gold with a minimal white head. Banana, wheat malt and clove flavor. Body on the light side of medium, moderate carbonation.

The Sampler, Brooklyn bottle: Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is banana and spice. I wouldn’t have called this a hefe as much as I would call it an American wheat. Nice and sweet. Nice fruity flavors. Overall, I think that this was somewhat under-rated.

12 ounce bottle from Belmont Party Supply. Pours an amber color with a very slight haze. Very slight. Thin head fades instantly. Aroma of caramel and faint fruits. The taste is wheat, caramel and a faint hop finish. Some apple-like fruits. Medium bodied. Pretty boring.

Toffee nose, odd for a wheat let alone an hefeweizen. Old gold color, no head, fine floaties. Tart lemon and toffee flavor. Very subtle banana notes are present. Drinks like an old bitter. Not a good hefeweizen, but an enjoyable beer.

12 oz bottle, purchased @ Nikki’s Liquors in Providence, RI. REAL Hazy yellow nearly orange. Normal carbonation, with yeast floating around. Pleasant nose of Bavarian yeast and a bit of orange. A pretty good take on a German Hefeweizen. More citrus then clove, but still the body and yeast is right on the money. fF you like this style you should like this brew. Well made and has drinkability.

I am a big fan of this style so perhaps my standards or expectations are a bit too high but this one ended up disappointing me. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky apricot color with a small foamy white head that left some lacing. The aroma was tangy with moderate clove and a light tart and citric presence and a bit of an industrial undertone. The flavor was bready with moderate clove and light notes of bubblegum, coriander and cardboard. The finish was medium length dryish bread , clove and cardboard. Moderately full bodied. Uninspired.
