On tap at Vetter's, Alt Brauhaus Heidelberg, Saturday 26th March 2019, a night stopover en route to our new home in Attenkirchen, Bavaria. Pours mid amber, crystal clear and with a white head, it looks good. A touch warm like all of the beers here but it's ok.

Draught at the BrewPub. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. the nose is earthy, toast, orange sponge cake, muffin and marmalade. The taste is bitter-sweet, orange peel, bready/sponge cake and tangy marmalade with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Not a whole lot of depth to it, but enjoyable enough.

Süßlich malziger Antrunk, hell. Weich herb, süffig, etwas brotig. Leicht trocken, was nur deswegen stört, weil Aromen zu diesem Zeitpunkt rar sind. Wenig hopfig süßer Abgang. 11/10/9/9//9

Tap at brewpub. Sweet cherry malt aroma with light astringency. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet creamy malt and light cherry flavor with mild astringent finish. Excellent - great malt flavor without too much astringency.

(On tap) Clear, fully golden with a small, off-white head. Sweetish, malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts with some light alcohol in the end. Almost no bitterness making this a rather atypical Maibock. 270606

2011-05-16, draught at the brauhaus, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Hazy golden color; compact head. Both aroma and flavor are simple; it’s sweetish (more than the neighbor Kulturbrauerei Maibock), with light hay tones; the bitterness is on the low side. Easy.

2006-06-04, draught (at Plan B, Copenhagen?), 5-3-6-3-12=29
Hazy blond color. The aroma is malty and a bit sour. The taste is malty enough, some sweetness. Simple but not bad.

Hazy orange beer with a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet grainy combined with notes of bread, and hints of hops. The flavor is also grainy sweet combined with notes of fruit, straw, and hops. The end is dry end slightly bitter. The alcohol is very well hidden.
