Bottle. I thought this was a wonderful beer. I wonder if people didnβt know it was an A-B product, it might get a higher score. Nice light aroma. Flavor was very light and slightly sweet. Great beer after mowing grass on a hot day. Good stuff. I recommend it.

Fruity, hoppy and citric finish. Light, but good body. But I was thinking of a hop-biting-hound.

From a very old set of notes. All my notes say is "Smells worse than it tastes. Tastes like some hops ate a banana puked themselves up then ate themselves again." That must have been from the end of the night...

Insults both pale ales and wheat beers. But it looks drinkable, at least, a nice orange-amber with an honest-to-god head for a few moments. Then you taste it, and you feel a cold, bony hand wrap itself around your heart, and your tongue retreats down your throat in horror, not stopping until it finds the safety of your small intestine. Tastes like banana chunks floating in a pool of spoiled club soda. And whatever hops the Hound is flaunting are nowhere to be found. (3/10/09)

Strawberry aroma with hints of malt. Cloudy orange, thin head. Lightly sweet malt at first, generic tartness at midpalate. Perfumey fruit finish, cherries are discernible. Slightly tinny, but tolerable. Light on the wheat characteristics, but not a bad amber ale.

12 oz bottle into shaker. Aroma is caramel malt; kind of cloyingly sweet. Pours cloudy orange with spotty lacing and a medium head that disappears fairly quick. I taste cinnamon, faint banana. Sweet with hardly any bitterness. Thin body, medium carbonation. Fairly boring wheat ale.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy copper with small off-white head. Taste is bready roasted malt and light hops, and a hint of caramel. Nice lacing, but a little light on the carbonation. Pretty good overall, but nothing great.

Bottle. Peach/banana and dough aroma. Light amber color with small head. Over-ripe banana and caramel malt flavor. Decent beer for AB.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. White head quickly recedes to a pinpoint at the side of the glass. Sour apricot aromas. Sweet caramel and wheat upfront turning to fruity apricot in the finish. No hint of hops.
