330ml bottle picked up at Meny Lade. Pours a coal dark coloured body under tan coloured head, mostly diminishing. Fragile lacing. Roasted aroma with a touch of cold coffee. Coffee grounds upfront to the taste profile. Roasted endnotes. Medium to thin bodied. Pleasing, a little thin though (hotel room, Trondheim 30.10.2014).

Small slightly bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, coffee, lactose, dark malts, roasted grain, caramel, nuts, chocolate, grass. Taste is slightly dry roasted, coffee, dark malts, lactose, roasted grain, hay, caramel, chocolate. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330 ml bottle. Clear, dark brown body with a nice off-white head. Aroma has light roasted dark malt but coffee dominates. Flavor is medium sweet, mild roasted dark malt, dark chocolate and lots of coffee with a balanced bitterness. Surprisingly well balanced body for this low ABV with a good coffee dominated aftertaste. Perfect if you like coffee and would go for a not too high alcohol beer. Very pleasant “low” alcohol porter.

33cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park. Pours very dark brown with a rather small, beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate and hints of caramel and dark fruits. Moderate sweet with lovely coffee flavours and a light, but balanced bitterness. Nice surprise and quite delicious.

Medium brown head. Opaque black body. Roasty fruity coffee aroma with earthy spicy notes. Dryish roasty chocolatey coffee taste with earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, creamy mouthfeel. Dryish roasty earthy cold coffee aftertaste with spicy wild berry notes. Nice, delicate, drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

0.33l bottle from #187. This one pours a deep and dark brown colored body with a nice big grayish brown lingering and lacing head. The nose has lots of sweetish chocolate, cardboard, some smoky hints and even a little bit of human skin. In the mouth it feels light oily and its about average on the carbonation. Smoked in the taste also, lots of nice chocolate and it's really roasted! Bitter slightly mouthdrying slightly dark coffee towards the finish. Lots of flavor in a light beer. I kinda like this. Would not mind having this again. 20.09.2014

Black color with a fine tan head. Coffee, roasted and mild cocoa. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Soft carbonation. Rich coffee, roasted and mild cocoa flavor. Maybe a bit to dominant coffee, but still nice and tasty.
