Gulp is an Imperial Milkshake IPA with peach and apricot. We loosely based the beer around our popular Octopod and Nautiloid recipes, but re-fermented the beer on 400Kg of Peaches and Apricots (350g/l) before dry hopping with Citra and Chinook (15g/l).

Can. So this little can is 12% but it's only an IPA because there is lactose in here? The stupidity of the current Ratebeer style structure never fails to amaze. Take the lactose out and it's a double IPA, or hey, maybe a hazy DIPA, if someone thinks it is, you know, hazy enough, no other criteria necessary it appears. Add the lactose back in, well it ain't a DIPA anymore is it, the alcohol level no longer matters now we have lactose! FFS! Anyway ... this hazy orange beer has a tiny pale cream colour head. Smooth and pretty light palate for the abv, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, reasonably sweet and seems more like vanilla than lactose here. Nice mildly tart apricot and orange, the peach seems subtle to me. Some citric peel and spice on the semi dry finish. Nice job, good mix of tart, sweet and fruity and hides the abv very well.

EU local trade 1/20, danke an minutemat. Geringe Karbonisierung. Fruchtiger, alkoholisch hopfiger Beginn. Viel Laktose, minimal bitter, der Alkohol bleibt erkennbar aber nicht unbedingt störend. Etwas Aprikose, minimal Vanille, süffig. Trocken alkoholischer Nachgeschmack. 13/11/10/10/12/11

Can from my Secret Santa, many thanks Mat. Hazy orange color with thick white head. Aroma of peach, apricots, vanilla. Fruity taste with apricots, peaches, vanilla, lactose, light hops, alcohol. Smooth beer, tasty milkshake for adults.

Can. Pours a milky cloudy orange with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet apricot, sweet peach and a good amount of creamy lactose. Flavor has lots of lactose with peach-os and sweet apricot and a bit of cookie underlying.

Tap@Himmeriget, Copenhagen 20/12/2019 (shared with Jan/Matt) - hazed up orange with a white head. Overt sweet fruity with notes of vanilla sweetness, lacto overload, artificial, medium body, jarring sweet finish. Not a fan.
