Svart. Mørkebrun skumring. Heftig aroma av kokos. Smaken det samme med innslag av melkesjokolade & vanilje. Heftig den også. Søtt helhetsinntrykk. Topp dessertøl.

Keg at Tilt on the Bingohame SHN meet, 07/12/19. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates edgeward. Nose is toffee fudge, big sweet candy hit on the nostrils, decadent chocolate, brown sugar melt, sweet malts. Taste comprises chocolate honeycomb, sweet malts, chocolate sundae, light molasses, brown sugars, candyfloss, nutty, donut glaze. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a warming boost offered. On the sweet side for me but still a really enjoyable impy stout.

On tap at Rbabarrab lbar, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is ridiculous, with intensely sweet brown sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, and more sugar. Flavour is unbelievably intense, with lots of potent marshmallows, brown sugar, maple syrup, and more sugar. It's like drinking a liquid version of sugar-covered marshmallows. Absurd. But fun stuff.

11th December 2019 Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly dark tan head. The nose screams unapologetic pastry stout and you have to concede, a big part of that is pure glazed donuts! Airy soft palate, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy sweet dark malts, a lovely creamy sweetness and as with the nose, a nailed on delivery of the glazed donut concept. Luxurious chocolate fudge and cream. Lurking underneath but never subservient, is a delightful berry liqueur vibe, particularly blackberry but modest raspberry in there. Some fantastic elements here but what elevates this one up in to the stratosphere is how superbly those elements come together. This one sings and caresses with it's sweet indulgent symphony. Wowsers! Amundsen have been producing great pastry for a few years now and here we are, a natural pinnacle of that work. Sincerely hope it doesn't stop there and they continue to develop. Who knows where this could go?

440ml can. Pours black with a big dark brown head. Aroma of strawberry jam donuts and syrup, chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Taste is extremely sweet, strawberry jam, donuts, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, subtle nuttiness, booze. Full bodied, extremely thick, poured like oil. The ultimate pastry stout. Wow!
