473ml can. Hazy, tomato juice-like, light brown-ish, red colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Lactic and fruity aroma, raspberry predominates, minimally papery hints of mild sauerkraut, a touch of guava and bramble. Taste is tart-ish fruity, slightly citric and fruit acidic, minimally lactic dryness, some fruity, pulpy sweetness, notes of raspberry, a touch of bramble and guava. Mainly watery, minimally pulpy texture, minimally astringent palate, prickly carbonation. Very fruity, well balanced, more fruit acidic and citric than lactic aspects, highly refreshing - very nice.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma is full of raspberries, guava, general tropical juiciness, and light lacto. Flavour is loaded with intense guava upfront, raspberries, and a hint of lacto. So much fruit and tropical juiciness. Excellent.

Fruited kettle sour by this Californian brewery which is apparently very much hyped lately – the Untappd subculture’s influence I guess, now proportionally much more powerful than RateBeer is, I reckon… Contains guava, raspberry and blackcurrant. Off-white, medium thick, mousy, slowly dissipating head on a hazy peach blonde beer with a kind of champagne-orangey tinge to it from the fruits. Aroma of indeed strong sweet tropical guava and clear fresh raspberries, less blackcurrant but still very recognizable in a cassis-like way, sourdough, sour apples, raw rhubarb, sour yoghurt, fresh passionfruit juice, lime. Crisp sour onset, lots of generous amounts of sweet-and-sour, expressive fruitiness, guava, raspberry and blackcurrant in descending order of dominance, spritzy and minerally carbonation, supple and lean wheaty body; soft and ‘superficial’ lactic sourness, bit yoghurty, while a more complex sourness lingers from the fruit, with tropical sweetness provided by the guava playing a significant part in the final act. Very modern ‘hipster’ Berliner Weisse, I am getting a bit bored by beers like this to be frank, but admittedly this one is very well done and very tasty, with the guava adding an interesting sweet, sultry and tropical twist to it which was quite delicious.
