In a world where a naked nun is carried around by a giant mouse, the idea of a US Pale Ale fermented with Belgian yeast seems normal.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ BBP Wanderlust 2018. Named after Jean-Marie Pfaff? Weird. Paler citrus, creamy white head. Nose is chalky basic hop oil, citrus. Dull oily chalky, dry, hay, straw,..; Weird oil. Meh BE yeast really does not work with most style, unexciting.

Blonde, very hazy, white bubbly head
Aroma - Too cold, light spicy
Taste - Soft Belgian yeast, light pale malts, some spicy hops, tastes a bit like Duvel but not as good, peppery hops

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from the brewery. Pours clear gold with a fairly tight, creamy white head. Crispy pale malts in the aroma, pine needles, hay, lemon peel. Light sweet flavourbwith mellow grassy bitterness, more crispy pale malts, husky grains, straw, more citrus peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish, with more crackery pale malts, lightly bitter dry straw, pithy grapefruit and lemon, further grassy. Good stuff on the whole.
