From tap at Cellarmaker, San Francisco. Aroma is tart fruits, tart lemon, light bready malt, touch of yeast, grass. Flavour is nicely sour and tart. Body is medium. Pretty light on the Saison yeast character, but a good sour Saison-ish beer.

Solo cup showing dark gold with a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows intense notes of brett and sweet saison malt.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Moderately tart with light flavors of saison malt and brett. Mild bitterness on the finish.

On tap at Chuck's CD, pours a clear pale bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has some oxidation, earthy wild yeast, and some sweatiness. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of wild yeast, rustic notes, some oxidation, citrus, and oak. Reasonably constructed, with a citrusy, oxidized, rustic finish. Nicely blended and constructed but leaves some room to be improved to compete with the big league saison brewers.

Hazy, vibrant blonde colour. Tart and buggy, nice clean pale malt, brett C kicking in, lots of bright fruity hops, orange. Fairly dry. Love the concept and the result today is hitting.

Lots of grapefruit bretta and Mandarin oranges. Pours golden with ok head. Quite tangy verging on light acidic. Tap at brewery.

Enjoyed on draft at The Masonry, Fremont. After missing the Masonry SBW Cellarmaker event (to be in San Francisco, so it's all good), it's cool to see that I got to try s bunch at the source, and some leftovers from the event as well. Smooth saison, lots of lemon flavor without a whole lot of bite. Melon constant. The tart feature creeps in really late. Flavorful, and delicious.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, beautiful sweet fruity malt with ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, light Brett, horse blanket, nice and complex, veering on lambic. On tap at brewery.

From tap at MBCC. Light hazy yellow color with off white to white head. Maly, yeasty and hoppy aroma, grass, bretty, citrusy fruity. Sweet, light bitter and light acidic taste like aroma. Almost medium oily body with soft carbonation.
