Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours a reddish brown with a small off-white head. Nose is mainly malts. It’s a bit watery in the mouth, but bread rolls and caramel can be detected, with traces of dark fruits. Bitterness comes through later, and the finish has cherries as well. Reasonable if slightly unusual.

20/1/2021. Bottle bought direct from the brewery, part of a mixed selection case they advertised on fb. Pours amber with an off-white head. Decent looking pour. Aroma is nutty, caramel, fruity, bready, biscuit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, a little oily, with average carbonation. Perfectly acceptable ruby ale.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery. Reddish brown, very translucent, mostly flat. Light malty aroma with soft berry aroma. Tastes sweet, at first, very malty. There a bitter hop kick near the finish which provides a nice balance. Black cherry and bourbon biscuit in the aftertaste. Watery, flat body. Fairly basic but decent enough.
