Bottle shared at THT. Clear brown with a ring off white head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, malt, caramel and nutty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light medium bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [26-08-2016]

already rated from cask, this time the bottle version. bought at the brewerry, clear copper with a light khaki head.Aroma of malts, caramel, grain and hops toasted grains. Taste is quite firm, grains, caramel, malts, medium bitterness, also in the finish, light nutty, brad, toffee, still enjoyable..

Pint from the brewpub, nice clear copper with a minimal kaki lacing, but that’s just how they fill up the glasses in the UK. Nose of caramel, malts, bread, biscuits, some light hops. Taste of medium bitterness, medium sweetness, sugar and sweet malts, bread, biscuit malts, some nuts, tastefull however a bit one dimensional, soft carbo, long bitterness in the aftertaste and some burnt caramel, weak body.

Cask at the Paisley Beer Festival 2016. Pours clear amber with a thin, bubbly white head. Aromas of sulphur, quite farty! Taste is toffee, light spice, cinnamon. Sweet, mineral finish.

Bottle, 500 ml from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with JFK10000. Pours amber with small off-white head. Caramel malts, light sweetness, dry. Too simple too light for me.

Clear deep amber brown with good off-white head. Pleasant aroma - mainly caramel / toffee with some herbal notes. Light body, rather fizzy. Taste starts with toffee with some rather lemony tang, dry herbal tea-like notes develop with some modest bitterness in finish. Pleasant enough.

Reddish copper colored, small to medium off white head. Clear. Aroma is pretty weak, some biscuit and herbal. Taste is caramel, biscuit, some toffee, bit of herbal-floral low to medium bitterness. Dryish finish. Low+ bodied, watery, light to moderate carbonation. Exceptionally tasteless water... I guess cask version could have some character.
