(Cask at Gallows Bird Real Ale Festival 2017) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had caramel, earth and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, earth, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A pleasant low ABV bitter.

Cask @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Dark amber-brown with a small creamy head. Malty berry-seeet in its nose, its much less stated in this respect in taste, but still crisp and smooth tasting.

Pours a clear amber color, topped with a small and quickly dissapearing off-white head. Malty aroma, mild caramel and biscuity notes, some resin also. Taste is sweet and biscuity, mild bitterness in the finish. Herbal/metallic feel in the aftertaste. A bit watery, but not bad.

On tap at the Bath Brew House, Bath, not the best XT beer I have had. Cloudy amber colour with no head. aroma is very week fruit, the taste has a slight bitter finish, but overall the beer is a touch watery.

Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Copper/amber, clear with not so much head. Chestnut, spruce, tangerine and gingerbread in the nose. Bittersweet refreshing taste with a sweet gingersnap finish and aftertaste. Weak mouthfeel is a letdown. Decent.

Cask gravity at the Watford RFC beer fest. Nice rich red amber coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is subdued caramel with lemon citrus and berry hop. Touch of grass. Flavour is composed of caramel, biscuit and a touch of toffee malts and good clean English yeast ferment. Hops are earthy grass, berry and touch of citrus. Medium easy going palate with fine carbonation. Decent condition. Tasty ale.
