Amber color. Lots of diactyle. Uninteresting caramel notes. Very linear and boring. Really malty and so uninteresting.

50cl bottle from Alfred the Grape, Marlow. An attractive golden amber colour with a rapidly vanishing white head; citrus aroma with a touch of spice; sweet caramel malt taste with some citrus and spice; and a dry fruity finish with a caramel after taste. A soft and pleasing bitter.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 16/11/12. Mid amber with a thin white head that retains well. Nose has hints of caramel malts, hops, touch of citrus. Tastes of caramel malts, vanilla, a little nuttyness, hops, touch of fruit. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. Decent.
