When we asked our employees which beer style that we haven’t brewed yet they most wanted us to brew, Milk Stout was hands down the most popular answer. Interestingly, they also suggested lots of interesting variations on the style. We really liked the idea of a Salted Caramel Milk Stout – so we made one. A carefully selected blend of malts create the pronounced caramel flavour, which is augmented by the addition of natural sea salt during the beer’s tank conditioning.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Black with a thin off-white head. Has fuller flavoured roasted malts with oatmeal and biscuit in its aftertaste.

Draft @ Skaal, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty milk chocolate aroma. Roasted malty milk chocolate caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty milk chocolate caramel finish.

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours nearly Black with a Off White head. Chocolate, hazel and Good Roast. Ashes.. Short bitter finish.

Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus, Nørregade 24, DK-8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Fourpure Stargazer ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, vanilla, milk chocolate, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180203] 7-3-7-3-15

Sampled at Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2017 - day 2. Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of roasted malts, chocolate, light caramel. Smooth and easy drinking.
