Light, fruity, tart & super refreshing.
Inspired by the seasons Ida is a summery sour loaded with fresh raspberry, basil and locally foraged elderflower.
As for the name- in Hellenistic Troy, Raspberry was linked to fertility and young children through the story of Ida, nursemaid to the infant Zeus. The story goes that she pricked her finger while picking the snow-white berries thus staining them red for all eternity.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ BBP Wanderlust 2018. Pink, little head. Nose is weird soap, raspberry in a grenadine way with raspberry pits,… Strange mineral, fizzy with raspberry grenadine, jam, kitchen spice,.. Fizzy, poor, sweet. Very odd but largely nice.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the Experiment. Pours clear, bright red with a modest, foamy pink head. Lovely tart raspberry throughout, mild lemony acidity, some seeds, maybe a whisper grassy basil. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Fairly dry in the finish, tart and quenching, not overly sweet but it still has some nice juicy raspberry. Lovely stuff overall.
