330ml bottle from BeerShooter in Alicante. A deep dark ruby coloured body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Nuts, earth and a mild coffee hint on the nose. Taste of hazelnut, not overdone, caramel malts and herbal hops. Lightly roasted grain to the ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Hotel room, Albir 16.04.2019).

15 February 2019. La Quince TTO @ Dok, Ghent. Cheers to Anke! Pours clear amber-brown with a lasting, thin, off-white head. Aroma of hazelnut, roasted peanut, butterscotch, biscuit, walnut, earth, tea leaves, burnt candi sugar. Taste is medium malty sweet, very nutty indeed, hazelnut & peanut on a biscuit with a caramelly edge; light hoppy bitter middle offers balance with mocha, toast, roasted nuts & a herbal accent of tea leaves. Dryish, herbal hoppy finish, lingering roasted nuttiness, some caramel. Light to medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Definitely delivers what it promises... Nice, but on the thinnish side.
