@Blind Pig-on tap-thin white-hazy pale yellow. A-clove, banana, lt grain. T-clove, banana (disappears as it warms), lt grain, yeast.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy golden with small white, Some thin small bubble lacing, medium carbonation, and coriander aroma. Taste is citrus, coriander, and slight bitter finish. Pretty good.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a slight fizzy white head. Aromas of wheat and coriander, maybe orange zest. Near med body. It’s quite spicy - I’m voting clove - and there’s lots of citrus. There’s a lot of flavor. Finish is decently spicy. Refreshing it is.

Purchased at Armanetti’s in Chicago, IL; enjoyed while watching Curb Your Enthusiasm on my day off. Appearance a light cloudy gold with a thin white rim around the glass. Aroma is rich in bready malt with a touch of coriander and a bit of grassiness. Taste is pretty smooth and definitely an easy drinker, the coriander comes out a bit more in the flavor and it’s almost equal parts spice and malt which is rather enjoyable. It’s not too complex but is tasty. Good stuff.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at TC Craft Beer in New Hope, Minnesota. Best by 7/21/11 printed on the label. The pour is a hazed golden yellow with a spritzy white head. Aroma is earthy grain wheat, along with some soft and gentle light clove and lemon citrus. The taste is a delicate soft wheat grain, along with grass, straw, the lemon citrus from the nose, and finishing with the light clove yeast. Palate is medium bodied, a touch of water, finishes dry and clean. Nice drinking Wit.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy golden-apricot color with a small foamy yellow-white had that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dry and had a very faint coriander element. The flavor was tangy and lightly tart with very faint notes of lemon, spice and bread. The finish was short, tangy and yeasty. Medium body. Ok. This could have been a nice beer but elements were just so faint.

This brew is a clear golden-orange color with a thin and creamy white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, malt and spice. Light body with flavors of citrus and banana, clove and yeast. The finish is lemony with a sweet spice aftertaste. Above average overall.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-tan color, thin, patchy head lines the edges of the glass. An OK beer, but doesn’t really nail the Wit style. The spices tend to dominate, overwhelming the smooth yeasty tones that I look for in a quality Wit. Light to medium bodied,drinkable, with a spicy, almost herbal finish. A touch of wheaty vanilla. OK, but misses the mark style-wise.

A better than average wit. All of the appropriate qualities of a Belgian Wit, and this does it better than most American wits. Sweet. Wheat flavor and aroma, and clearly Belgian yeast. Coriander and orange. Cloudy brown. Fairly thick palate, and nearly cloying from the sweetness, best cold to cut down on that.

Pale hazy vanilla darker than a wit. Swirling bottle bottom sediment. Very thin creamy head. Sweet yeast aroma. Good hefe background with bananas and spices. Does have some ale attributes that I can live with. Acceptable overall. Perhaps a little less carbonation than I like at first. Gets better toward the middle of the session, some orange is detected. Towards end, the CO2 get a little better. Good overall experience.
