12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 5/15/2017. Pours fairly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, orange peel, and pale/wheat malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, peach, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Mild herbal, floral, grassy bitterness; peppery yeast spiciness; and wheat tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of emon, orange peel, peach, pear, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, wheat, cracker, white bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, orange peel, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a delicious witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, orange peel, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Perfectly balanced Wit yeast, orange peel, and pale/wheat malts; with mild earthy hop presence. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, grass, fresh hops and a very strong bit of citrus fruit. Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie flavour with potent hops up front and a good dose of sweetness on the tail end. Aftertaste shows some mild hops, wheat and yeast, along with coriander seed and some freshness. Overall, an actually nice and refreshing beer. I definitely enjoyed this - it would be a nice beer over the summer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased in May 2008 at Kybecca in Fredericksburg, Virginia, sampled on 12-September-2008 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

12oz bottle. Cloudy golden-orange color. Light citrus and ocean aroma. The flavor is crisp, with a citrus zest to it. It finishes wheaty and not unlike a saison. Sandy, pungent wheat taste mouthfeel works quite well. Very complex and respectable beer, definitely a unique offering.

bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a two finger white head. It smells of yeast and a touch of citrus. The flavor is a nice balance of wheat and hops with a touch of citrus. The hops makes this beer stand out a bit from others of the style. It’s not great, but it’s a pretty good, refreshing brew.

Bottle. Anemic at best. Little flavor, yet more bitter than most wits. Which is why this should probably be classified as an American wheat, not that that matters because it is not a very good American wheat either. Hazy yellow body with a small white head. The light aroma was grainy with the slightest hint of orange. No spice at all. The flavor was lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture. Bitter finish. Lively carbonation. The flavors just don’t work. Somewhere along the way, the wheels fell off this beer.

Bottle. Orange/lemon peel and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with moderate head. Dry tart lemon juice and light malt flavor with a very light hops finish. A nice light summer beer but lacking in malt flavor.

Bottle. If I’m generous, I’ll call the aromas that waft up from this hazy, straw-colored body, lemony. That said, the scents are a little dirty with a grassy character as their best compliment and a slightly sewer water appeal to them. There is some sping present in the nose, too, as well as some yeast. Flavor is citrus and coriander heavy... but the wheat body is mediocre, in my opinion. It comes off as slightly septic, although I’m not sure whether this is due to a spicing attempt gone bad or what. Almost astringent at times... Definitely not the sweet, wheat character that I was looking for.

12 oz bottle from the Vintage Estates, thanks Nuts. Pour is beautiful swirling hypnotizing wheaty brew, especially if you roll the bottle properly to get the gunk off the bottom. Still there is lots of sludge on the bottom of the bottle. Interesting off orange color towards beige. Darker and more orange yellow than most wits. Cleanish aroma. Not a whole lotta spice smells present. Taste is a bit on the strong side for a wit. You can tell there is some alky in this brew. Not much, if any, bitter lingering tho. The low medium alky fades immediately with each sip. Good medium carbonation that is welcomed to ward off that bitter impact present with each gulp. A little too alky flavor to be a session wheat. Cannot taste much orange in there. That bitterness hangs like a pale ale hop but bites like a malt. Like zebracakes said, there is a strange chemy bite to this, almost industrial. Finish is bitter on the sides of your tongue, that sticks, but there is no back of the throat medicinal qualities. OK overall but does not measure up to East End wit or Hoegaarden. Probably tastes more like an american wheat.
