Golden color. Gentle aroma of hops. Medium-light mouthfeel, some light malt and correct bitterness, but low hop aromas. Too simple.

Bottle. Sweet creamy malt and metallic aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Creamy/caramel malt flavor with metallic finish. Really very good for a cream ale. Without the the metallic flavor and aroma it would have gained at least a half a point.

After seeing what ingredients were used, I had low expectations for this beer, but it surprised me. Caramel, hoppy nose and a mildly interesting body, which was somewhat hops accented, but a boring finish. Still not bad IMO.

A mislabeling of a style from a Gluek beer? Shocking! Looks like a Lager, with a pale amber gold color and a thin white head that was gone almost immediately, and lacing does not exist. Faint hops aroma. Light-bodied with a weak hops flavor undermined by grainy and doughy aspect. The finish is crisp and relatively flavorless. Whether this is supposed to be a Pale Ale or something else, I don’t like it.

I bought the six-pack because I could put in other varieties of the beer and not have the grocery store clerks know (i admit to it), but it was not a smart investment. By far the worst 'pale ale' i've ever had, and very close to the worst beer ever....look no further than Lawson Creek for the worst beers you've had! The beer had no taste, not even hoppy!
